At postmodyrn, when we talk about your bod, we’re talking about your whole bod: about your confidence, your energy levels, your breastmilk, your libido, your hair falling out, your eating-standing-up-while-bouncing-the-baby meal habits, and yes, your weight. But at the end of the day, having the energy to be you right now is priority number one.
We accept our bodies’ changes during pregnancy. Heck, pregnancy these days is hot! And we should do the same post-pregnancy (though yes, we agree, post-pregnancy can feel less-than-hot). But the changes that are occurring are part of the process: proof that childbearing doesn’t begin and end with pregnancy, but continues well beyond into the first months of motherhood.
